Two projects both written and starring Bernie and his Comedy Cohort Garry Summers and Production Company Olaus Roe. The latest is called "Making a Killing" which was produced for Channel 4's Comedy Blaps. And the second "Embarcation" was shortlisted for the Sci-fi London 48 hr film challenge 2013, made by the same team.

Bernie won Best Actor for his role in the short film "The Interview" at the 2 days of Laughter Short Film Festival 2012.
"The Interview, was a very popular choice by the judging panel, scooping up  BEST MALE ACTOR (Bernie Hodges), BEST FEMALE ACTOR (Shahla Tarrant) and BEST SOUND for Bristol based film director Martin Hall, who drove down from the West Country to receive the three awards for his dry and witty comment of corporate Britain."
